Hilana Marais the Biophys sponsored member of Team Mad Scientist has been performing brilliantly in her chosen discipline of Mountain Biking around Cape Town over the past few weeks.
Last week saw her win the Ladies section of the Paarl Mountain Bike Race and this week she placed second in Franshoek.
She now has a bit of rest ahead of her before tackling the Double Century (200km) team race with a ladies team from Cape Town.
